Trixie and Twinkle are bound to get you in the holiday spirit! Choose your elf (or two!) and join in on this fun and festive crochet along! Read on for all of the details.
Each elf measures 12 inches tall when legs are extended, including the hat. The legs are sewn on separately so they can sit independently, but they can also stand if leaned against something. Whether you choose to make one, or the pair, these elves are perfect for cuddling, decorating, or gift-giving this holiday season!
Crochet Along Details
This pattern will be split into 3 parts. Each part will be released on my blog (links below) a few days apart, starting Monday, December 10. A lot of the fun of a crochet along is working on a pattern together with fellow crocheters. Join the Loops & Love Crochet Group on Facebook to share progress, questions, questions, photos, etc.
Each part of this pattern will be released here free on my blog. If you prefer to work from an ad-free, printable PDF version, or maybe you don’t want to wait for each part to be released, you may purchase the complete pattern from my Etsy or Ravelry shop starting Monday! Thank you so much for supporting Loops & Love Crochet!

- Worsted-weight yarn – You can use any worsted-weight yarn for this project. You will need red, green, and white yarn plus a skin color and a hair color. Specifically, I used Bernat Satin in Crimson, Caron Simply Soft in Bone, and Red Heart Soft in Guacamole, White, and Toast.
- 4 mm crochet hook
- Safety eyes – 8mm size
- Black embroidery thread for the eyelashes.
- Yarn needle for sewing pieces together and weaving in ends. Bent needles are my favorite for amigurumi!
Each part of the pattern will be linked below on the release date. Make sure you don’t miss pattern announcements by liking Loops and Love Crochet on Facebook or following @loopsandlovecrochet on Instagram!
I hope you join in on this CAL and have as much fun making these elves as I did!
